Description
I love tropical plants (may have something to do with having been born in Trinidad!), and this painting was inspired by a visit to the tropical house at RHS Wisley Gardens last summer. The natural world is so beautiful, we must preserve it for future generations!
The vibrant colours and fascinating shapes really excite me, and the process of creating this painting was totally absorbing – perfect for blocking out the miserable winter weather.
This was mainly painted with palette knives, but a brush was necessary for some of the detail.
‘Tropical’ is also available as a one-of-a-kind acrylic painting or a fine art print.
